Why it is studied

In laboratory research BPC-157 is used as a model peptide in cell-based assays of angiogenesis and endothelial cell migration — how cultured cells move and organise into vascular structures.

It also appears in gastrointestinal mucosal and tissue-pathway research models, in in vitro work on growth-factor and nitric-oxide signaling, and in peptide-stability and analytical-method development. No medical, therapeutic, or diagnostic claims are made.
